GEORGETOWN, Guyana - Ruqayyah Boyer was crowned Miss Guyana Universe 2012 at the Princess Hotel and Casino in Georgetown on September 15. She will represent Guyana in Miss Universe 2012 later this year. Niketa Barker and Sadhna Yunus finished second and third, respectively.
