Aylen Nail Maranges, Miss Argentina is the winner of Miss Italia Nel Mondo 2012

With only 6 representatives (Tunisia, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Cape Verde, Sri Lanka), a special edition of Miss Italia Nel Mondo happened within the traditional Miss Italia pageant. The winner was Miss Argentina, Aylen Nail Maranges, 25 and 1m70, from Rosario.


Miss Italia nel Mondo was born in 1991 and it used to reunite about 40 beauties of Italian descent from all over the planet. Organizers announced that starting in 2012, the international pageant would be scrapped and the award would be given amongst the contestants of Miss Italia with international roots.

Gabriela Markus, is the winner of Miss Universe Brazil 2012 Pageant. She was crowned Miss Universo Brasil 2012 on September 29, 2012 in Fortaleza . Gabriela Markus is 23 year old and stands 1.80 m. She will be Brazil’s representative in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 Pageant to be held in Las Vegas on December 19, 2012.

Nina Fjalestad was crowned Miss Earth Norway 2012 - She will represent Norway in the upcoming Miss Earth 2012 pageant to be held in Manila, Philippines on November 24, 2012

Road to Miss Earth 2012

Nina Fjalestad was the first runner-up in the Miss Universe Norway 2012 pageant held at the Kanonhallen-Peter Mollersvei, Norway on September 28, 2012 and she was crowned Miss Earth Norway 2012.

Nina Fjalestad is 19 years old and stands 1.70 m. She will represent Norway in the upcoming Miss Earth 2012 pageant to be held in Manila, Philippines on November 24, 2012.

She won the Miss Globe International 2011 tittle, Miss Kaya Artemis 2011 and Miss Burn & Bid Modell 2012 awards.

Camila Serakides (23) from Brazil, was crowned Miss Continente Americano 2012 on September 29, 2012


The Top 6 finalists
Camila Serakides (23) from Brazil, was crowned Miss Continente Americano 2012 during the 7th edition of the competition held at the Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on September 29th.
The 1st runner-up or “virreina” was Miss Panama, Maricely Gonzalez Pomares; and the 2nd runner-up was Miss Argentina, Josefina Herrero.
Paraguay (Liliana Santa Cruz), Costa Rica (Fabiana Granados) and Mexico (Karen Padilla) completed the group of finalists.
The winner was crowned by outgoing titleholder Claudia Schiess, of Ecuador.  The show also saw the debut of reigning Miss Ecuador Universe Carolina Aguirre as a singer.
Miss Canada, Kesiah Papasin was elected Miss Congeniality, and Miss Mexico Karen Padilla was Miss Photogenic. Colombia’s Melissa Cano won the Best National Costume award.

AKHALTSIKHE, Georgia - Thamtha Shedania was crowned Miss Georgia 2012 at the Rabati Castle in Akhaltsikhe on September 26. She will represent Georgia in Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia on September next year. The first runner-up is Lika Metreveli and she will represent Georgia in Miss Universe 2012 in Las Vegas Strip, Nevada on December 19. Nino Makharadze was the second runner-up. There are conflicting reports about where the winner is competing but the organizers said on September 7 during a press conference that the winner of the pageant will compete in Miss World 2013.

Her twin sister, Roma Chibany, finished as the first runner-up.
